The Difference Between Release Fabric Cloth and Glass Material

There is not much difference between glass fiber cloth and the main material of glass, mainly due to the different material performance requirements during the production process, so the formula is also different. The silicon dioxide content of flat glass is about 70-75%, and the silicon dioxide content of glass fiber is generally less than 60%. Glass is an inorganic material that melts at high temperatures (above 800 degrees Celsius, daily glass typically melts at 1100 degrees Celsius), and does not undergo chemical changes below the softening point temperature. Above the softening point temperature, it only softens, melts or decomposes, without any combustion phenomenon. Glass fiber cloth pulls glass into very thin glass fibers, which have good softness. Glass release fabric uses the same material as glass, the main difference is the formula due to the different material performance requirements during the production process. The silicon dioxide content of flat glass is approximately70-75%, with glass fiber generally having a silicon dioxide content below 60%.

Glass is an inorganic material that melts at high temperatures(Above 800 degrees Celsius, daily glass typically melts at 1100 degrees Celsius, and does not undergo chemical changes below the softening point temperature. Above the softening point temperature, it only softens, melts or decomposes, without any combustion phenomenon.

Glass fiber cloth pulls glass into very thin glass fibers, which have good softness. The glass fiber is spun into gauze, and then woven into glass fiber cloth through a weaving machine. Due to the extremely thin glass fiber, the surface per unit mass is positive and the temperature resistance is reduced. It's like melting thin copper wire with a candle.

But glass cannot burn. The combustion we can see is actually to improve the performance of glass fiber cloth, by coating resin material or adhering impurities on the surface of glass fiber cloth. Pure glass fiber cloth or coated with some high-temperature resistant coatings can be made into fire-resistant clothing, gloves, blankets, and other products. But if it comes into direct contact with the skin, the broken fibers can cause significant irritation and itching to the skin.

Precautions:

Generally, the diameter of conventional glass fiber isGlass fiber floats above 9-13 microns and below 6 microns can directly enter the pulmonary, causing respiratory diseases. Therefore, special attention should be paid. Professional masks must be worn during production operations. If exposed frequently, it may inhale into the lungs and cause pneumoconiosis.

If the body is stained with fiberglass, poor skin may cause allergies and itching, but generally there will be no serious injury. It is recommended to take some anti allergic drugs.

If the clothes are difficult to remove, pat them several times in a windy area, wash them clean and dry them in the sun, and pat them with branches to make it easier to remove.
