What is a PET Release Film?
What isPET release film? It is a commonly used material for heat transfer printing, and the substrate isPET, also known as silicone oil film, is made by coating with silicone oil. The conventional thickness ranges from 25um to 150um. There are two types of products: cold and hot tearing and smooth and matte surface. After anti-static and scratch resistant treatment, the product has good adsorption and adhesion.
PET release filmAlso known asPET silicone oil film refers to coating a layer of silicone oil on the surface of PET film to reduce its adhesion and achieve the effect of release. It can be divided into single-sided release film and double-sided release film. According to the release force, it can be divided into light release membrane, medium release membrane, and heavy release membrane.
The commonly used thicknesses are:0.012mm, 0.019mm, 0.025mm, 0.038mm, 0.05mm, 0.075mm, 0.1mm, 0.125mm, 0.188mm,PET release film manufacturers are equipped with large slitting and slicing machines that roll and slice according to your specifications.
PET release film has been widely used in industries such as packaging, printing, silk screen printing, pad printing, nameplate, film switch, flexible circuit, insulation products, circuit board, laser anti-counterfeiting, lamination, electronics, sealing material film, reflective material, waterproof material, medicine (plaster paper), sanitary paper, adhesive products, die cutting and punching processing.
Also known asPET transfer film. It is mainly used as a carrier for vacuum aluminum plating, which is to place the PET film on the vacuum aluminum plating machine for aluminum plating, glue it onto the paper, and then peel off the PET film. The aluminum molecular layer is transferred to the surface of the cardboard through adhesive action, forming the so-called aluminum plated cardboard.
The production process of aluminum coated cardboard is as follows:PET substrate → release layer → color layer → aluminum plating layer → adhesive layer → transfer to cardboard.
