What Precautions Should be Taken When Producing Release Film?

1. Mechanical properties of release paper

1. Mechanical properties of release film

The raw materials are made into crushed fine fibers through mechanical pressure, grinding, and other physical methods. Mechanical pulp is mainly ground wood pulp, and its raw materials are Broad-leaved tree and conifers, with production efficiency90-95%.

Paper made from mechanical pulp does not add any chemicals, so the lignin in the wood raw material is completely included in the pulp. However, if the raw material of the release film contains colored substances or dark impurities, it will affect the color of future paper. In terms of nature, it is relatively fragile, with high opacity and good drainage. Release film has low compactness, high smoothness, strong elasticity, strong ink absorption ability, can accelerate ink drying, and has good printing adaptability.

2. Release paper chemistry

Due to the large amount of non cellulose components in mechanical pulp, such as wood, paper is easily exposed to light, which changes the color of the paper and makes it more fragile. In order to improve this disadvantage, a chemical pulping method has been developed.

Mixing chemical pulp with chemicals makes it easy for wood to separate the fibers of the raw material. The purpose of cooking is to eliminate lignin through chemical reactions between chemicals and wood and other raw materials, leaving cellulose as a material for pulp.

In the cooking process, different chemicals can be added to make the properties of pulp different. The chemicals can be divided into Sulfurous acid pulp.

Sulfurous acid pulp is light in nature and color, so it can also be used for paper making without bleaching. The produced paper has high whiteness, soft paper, and weak physical properties. The characteristic of alkaline pulp is softness and opacity. The paper made of this pulp has strong physical properties mainly because of its short fibers? Sulfate pulp is currently a common method.

Because it's using Na2S steaming is easy and effective, and the paper made from this pulp has good strength, softness, and durability. After bleaching, the whiteness of the paper can be greatly improved.

3. Release film semi chemical properties

A method that lies between mechanical pulp and chemical pulp. Firstly, dissolve the binding force between non fibrous components in the raw material and fibers, and then separate the fibers using mechanical methods.Na2SO3 and Ca (HSO3) 2 are used in semi chemical methods, while Na2CO3 and NaHCO3 are used as buffering agents.

The characteristic of this pulp is that the fibers obtained from the raw materials can achieve65-85%. The paper produced has a hard nature, and this pulp can be used to make paper for different purposes, such as newsprint, printing paper, writing paper, corrugated paper, etc. It has high elasticity, but the cost is lower than other methods. With pulp, various subsequent manufacturing processes are required to produce paper for printing. The papermaking process mainly includes beating, adding minerals, and different fillers.
