Silicone gasket is widely used in electronic products. The main function of silicone gaskets is to use gaps for heat transfer, playing a role in insulation, shock absorption, and sealing. However, due to improper usage, some customers did not achieve the desired results and instead damaged the silicone pad. What should be noted when using silicone pads?

Firstly, the silicone pad surface should be kept clean to avoid sticking to dirt, resulting in poor self-adhesion and sealing thermal conductivity.

Secondly, when taking a large area of thermal conductive silicone gasket, it should be taken from the center, as the uneven force on the large silicone gasket can cause deformation and affect subsequent operations.

Thirdly, when using, take the tablet with the left hand and tear off a protective film with the right hand. Do not remove both protective films at the same time. Reduce the number and area of direct contact with the silicone pad, ensuring that the self-adhesive and thermal conductivity of the silicone pad are not damaged.

Fourthly, remove the protective film on one side and face the radiator. When aligning the silicone pad with the radiator and slowly lowering it. Be careful to avoid bubbles. Remove the other side of the protective film and place it in the radiator to avoid pulling or pulling up the silicone pad.

Fifth, if bubbles are generated during the operation, a tool can be used to gently wipe the bubbles, but the strength should not be too strong to avoid damaging the thermal conductive silicone pad. You can also pull up one end of the silicone pad, repeat the above steps, and operate again.

Sixth, after tightening or using a strong adhesive silicone gasket, apply a certain amount of pressure to the radiator and store it for a period of time to ensure that the silicone gasket is properly fixed.
