There are generally three ways to apply release film, and each manufacturer can choose the appropriate method for production according to their actual needs. Do you want to know which one? So now let's learn about the similarities and differences among the three methods, and what are their advantages?

1、 Scraper type coating: Scraper type coating often results in uneven gluing. PET release film manufacturers are mainly related to the processing accuracy of the scraper, the installation method of the scraper, the angle between the scraper and the backing wheel during coating, and the viscosity of the coating. The precision requirement for the flatness of the scraper is high, which means that the scraper does not warp, deform, or have gaps, otherwise the coating amount error will be large. During coating, the angle between the contact tangent of the scraper and the upper rubber wheel is generally between 15 degrees and 30 degrees. If it is too large, the scraper may press against the back rubber wheel, which may cause vibration during operation, resulting in uneven coating and large differences in coating amount. It may even cause the coated film surface to be uneven and scratched, and damage the blade of the scraper.

2、 Smooth roller coating: This is a coating method that uses two or more rollers to transfer. By adjusting the gap and speed ratio between each roller, the coating amount can be adjusted. The structure of this coating method is relatively complex. The processing and assembly accuracy of the glue roller, coating roller, traction roller, and scraper are required to be very high. Due to the use of high-precision smooth rollers for coating and gluing in this coating machine, the coating effect is good. The amount of coating can be adjusted not only by the gap between the gluing roller and the coating roller, but also by the micro adjustment of the coating scraper, resulting in high coating accuracy.

    3、 Web roller coating: This coating equipment mainly uses a mesh coating roller for gluing, with good uniformity of coating and accurate coating amount. But the disadvantage is that the coating amount is difficult to adjust. When using the Anilox for coating, the coating amount is related to the concave hole depth of the Anilox and the characteristics of the glue itself.
