Release film has good transparency and printing adaptability

The surface energy of BOPP release film is low, and corona treatment is required before gluing or printing.

BOPP release film also has shortcomings, such as easy accumulation of static electricity and lack of heat sealing. In order to obtain a heat sealable BOPP film, a heat sealable resin adhesive, such as PVDC latex, EVA latex, etc., can be coated on the surface of the BOPP film after corona treatment. Solvent adhesive can also be coated, and the heat sealable BOPP film can be produced by extrusion coating or co extrusion composite method.

This film is widely used in packaging such as bread, clothing, shoes and socks, as well as in the cover packaging of cigarettes and books. The initiation tear strength of BOPP film increases after stretching, but the secondary tear strength is very low. Therefore, there should be no notches left on both ends of BOPP film, otherwise BOPP film is prone to tearing during printing and lamination. After BOPP is coated with adhesive, it can produce box sealing tape, which is a market with a large amount of BOPP.
