What is the Lifespan of PE Protective Film for Automobiles ?
PE protective film plays a great role in our daily life and industrial production. Our phones, computers, and monitors all rely on protective film protection. So what is the lifespan of the PE protective film applied to the car? As is well known, a good car protective film is usually used normally for 5 to 6 years, but the premise is to maintain it well. If the precautions for car protective film are not clear, the service life of the car protective film will be greatly reduced, which is inevitable.
1. Do not lift the glass within a week. Generally speaking, it takes 5-7 days for the car protective film to firmly adhere to the window. During this period, try not to lift the glass as much as possible to avoid displacement of the car protective film that has not yet been fully bonded.
2. Do not wipe within a week. The newly applied car protective film is prone to fogging and other conditions, which is a normal phenomenon during the drying process of the solar film. It is normal for this situation to occur within about a week to half a month. You only need to wait for it to gradually disappear and do not wipe it.
3. Do not use sharp, rough tools to scrape. Because if car owners do not pay attention, using sharp and rough tools to scrape the PE protective film material will greatly reduce the transparency of the car protective film. So, when washing the car, try to wipe the film surface with a soft cloth such as a wet towel, and avoid using highly corrosive chemical solvents to wipe the protective film surface of the car.
