Introduction to PTFE Film

Polytetrafluoroethylene film is formed by pressing and sintering cylindrical billets, cutting them into thin films by machine tools, and then rolling them. According to different processing methods, it can be divided into three types: directional membrane, semi directional membrane, and non directional membrane. At present, polytetrafluoroethylene film products include porous membranes, microfiltration membranes, color membranes, etc. 1. PTFE film is molded and cut into thin films by a machine tool and then rolled. According to different processing methods, it can be divided into three types: directional membrane, semi directional membrane, and non directional membrane. 1. PTFE color film

PTFE color film is suitable for insulation of electrical instruments or wires, with color distinguishing marks. It is a new type of C-class insulation material with excellent comprehensive performance, and is one of the indispensable and important materials in the radio industry, aviation industry, and cutting-edge technology. Generally, suspended polytetrafluoroethylene resin is used, with a particle diameter of 150 μ Below m. Pigments must have good heat resistance (> 400 ℃), fine particles, strong coloring power, and stability requirements for chemical reagents.

3. Main process parameters:

Mixing: Currently, there are two main mixing methods for producing colored PTFE films; Dry mixing and wet mixing. Research has shown that wet mixing is more uniform than dry mixing, but there are many processes and high costs that require the addition of solvents. To ensure the uniformity of the product, wet mixing is generally used.

The process of PTFE resin is PTFE resin. Pigments are added with solvents → mixed → dried → solvent removed → colored materials.

Molded pre forming: Reasonable selection of pre forming unit pressure is an important process condition for PTFE color film production. Mainly based on the fineness and compression ratio of the resin, the type and fineness of pigments are selected, usually between 20 and 40 MPa.

Sintering cooling: Due to the presence of pigments in the color film, the thermal conductivity and thermal expansion coefficient are not consistent with PTFE. Therefore, the rise and fall temperature during the sintering process is slower than that of ordinary PTFE films, and the sintering temperature is lower than that of ordinary films. The rise and fall temperature is 20-30 ℃/h, and the sintering temperature is 375 ℃. The heating rate of ordinary thin films is 50-60 ℃/h before 327 ℃, 30-40 ℃/h after 327 ℃, the sintering temperature is 380 ℃, and the cooling rate is 20-50 ℃/h.

Turning non directional film: The blade angle is suitable for cutting from 40 ° to 45 °, and the speed is slower than ordinary PTFE.

Rolling semi directional film: The rolling temperature varies with the thickness of the film, usually 5 μ M thick, 110 ℃± 5 ℃; thirty μ M thick, 130 ℃± 10 ℃. The rolling ratio is 2.5-3.0.
