Analysis of Release Film Coating
The function of release film is achieved through the use of different coating liquids, such as polyester, polyurethane, acrylic acid, silicon solution, etc. The purpose of coating the release film is to enhance its specific appearance function, such as enhancing film printing function, enhancing the aluminum layer peeling force after aluminum plating, and improving the smoothness of the film surface. When using different coating fluids for coating, it is necessary to adjust the corresponding production process accordingly to meet the technical requirements such as the curing time and temperature of the coating fluid, in order to ensure the stability of the coating production.
Regarding equipment coating fluid: The coating fluid produced is generally water-based, mainly composed of water, leveling agent, functional coating fluid, curing agent, and catalyst.
Regarding the coating process: The coating production process mainly consists of several important processes, including the manufacturing of coating solution, coating solution supply, corona treatment of release film, concave roller coating, and drying system.
Specifically, the coating liquid needs to be mixed in the supply tank for a period of time to produce a coating liquid that can be used for coating. The finished coating liquid is pumped into the intermediate material tank through a supply pump. After the polyester release film is longitudinally stretched by a longitudinal stretching device, corona equipment is required to perform corona treatment on the surface of the release film to improve its surface tension and enhance its wetting function. Together with the intermediate pump, the coating liquid in the intermediate material tank is pumped into the sealed scraper cavity, and the concave roller passes the coating liquid in the cavity through the release film. The contact angle is transferred to the surface of the film, forming a coating layer on the surface of the film. The film coated with coating liquid then enters the transverse stretching equipment. In the transverse stretching preheating section, the coating liquid evaporates water during the drying process, ultimately forming a uniform chemical treatment layer on the surface of the film.
