The release film itself peels too tightly

Test method: Take a blank release film, use adhesive film or 3M tape, and after bonding, perform a tensile test to sense the touch. Qualified release film manufacturers can use a universal screw tension tester before printing to avoid unnecessary losses.

The printing pattern area is too large, and the adhesive viscosity and solvent permeability are strong, resulting in the dissolution and permeation of the printing adhesive and separation layer. Causes very tight tearing of the cutting edge, as well as discoloration, wrinkling, and pungent odor.

Solution: Pay attention to adjusting the solvent ratio (main solvent, secondary solvent, auxiliary solvent) and try to reduce the proportion of strong solvents as much as possible. Simultaneously adjust the viscosity of the adhesive, increase the solid content, and reduce the dissolution strength.

Ink viscosity is too low, dry and opaque. In the actual production process, in order to improve efficiency and fluidity, printers often like to reduce the viscosity of the ink. Although the adaptability of printing has been addressed and efficiency has been improved, side effects have also emerged. This will cause the solvent in the ink to penetrate into the release layer, increasing the difficulty of volatilization, and ultimately sealing all solvents in the inner layer, forming an release layer where the ink layer is miscible. After hot stamping and cold tearing, we tear the bottom layer from the bottom layer, indicating that the tearing is very tight, the surface is rough, the smell is pungent, and even the color remains.

Solution: Increase ink viscosity and strengthen baking assurance; Conditional release film manufacturers can print and bake each layer to ensure layer by layer dryness.
